A Dead Avenger Resurrected: Major Character to Make a Comeback in MCU Film
According to the latest gossip from The Cosmic Circus, a dead character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be making a comeback in an upcoming Avengers film.
The speculation is that the return will be a result of a crossover between universes 616 and 838, with a member of the 838 Illuminati having a score to settle with the 616 Avengers.
The Cosmic Circle has also hinted that this returning character may be an Iron Man variant, with the potential return of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, although this has not been confirmed.
Downey first brought the iconic character of Tony Stark/Iron Man to life in 2008’s Iron Man, appearing in a total of nine films throughout the first three phases of the MCU.
He last appeared as the character in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, in which the character was depicted as deceased. Since then, Mick Wingert has voiced the character in the animated series, What If…?.
It should be noted that no official announcements have been made regarding the cast for the upcoming Avengers films, besides Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. This rumored return of a dead Avenger remains speculation for now.
