Al Pacino Joins Cast of European Art Biopic “Modi”

In a surprising announcement, legendary actor Al Pacino has officially joined the cast of “Modi,” a European art biopic that also features “John Wick: Chapter 2” star Riccardo Scamarcio.

The film is being directed by none other than Hollywood icon Johnny Depp, who is also producing the project through his European outlet IN.2.

This will be the first time the pair are working together since 1997’s Donnie Brasco.

“Modi” is set to focus on 48 hours in Modigliani’s life in 1916, as he runs from police through the streets of war-torn Paris and debates whether to end his artistic career.

Pacino’s addition to the “Modi” lineup only adds to the anticipation for the project, as the actor is widely regarded as one of the greatest performers of his generation. He has appeared in countless classic films over the years, earning critical acclaim and a legion of fans in the process.
