Netflix has just dropped a thrilling new teaser trailer for the upcoming Berlin spin-off from the popular Money Heist series. The prequel will see fan-favorite Pedro Alonso reprise his role as the cunning thief and mastermind, Berlin.
The 52-second video gives us a sneak peek into Berlin’s latest heist plan as he meticulously builds a model of the bank he plans to take over. The teaser also introduces a mysterious woman, who may play a crucial role in his schemes.

Alongside Alonso, the spin-off will feature an all-star cast, including Tristán Ulloa as Berlin’s confidant Damián, Michelle Jenner as electronics specialist Keila, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.
Berlin is an eight-episode heist drama from Money Heist creators Martínez Lobato and Álex Pina, with writing by Lobato, Pina, David Olivia, and David Berrocal. Berrocal will also direct, along with Geoffrey Cowper. The series is currently in production in Paris.
Berlin was first introduced in the first season of Money Heist, but his original death in the season finale didn’t sit well with fans. Thanks to their response, Alonso was able to reprise his role in the later seasons, appearing in flashback scenes.
Money Heist, created by Álex Pina, features an impressive cast including Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Alba Flores, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Darko Perić, and Paco Tous.
