Indiana Jones deluxe action figures announced ahead of The Dial of Destiny

Disney has unveiled a new line of Indiana Jones deluxe action figures ahead of the release of new sequel The Dial of Destiny.

With the blockbuster arriving this summer, the House of Mouse is dipping back into the franchise’s history with four new action figures from Hasbro.

Harrison Ford’s globe-trotting adventurer is the first in the set, decked out in the white suit he wore during the Club Obi Wan (see what they did there?) sequence in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

Like every figure in this set, Indy has multiple points of articulation and unique accessories. For example, Indiana Jones comes with a detachable diamond and a flaming shish kabob that made an unconventional weapon.

Karen Allen’s Marion Ravenwood is ready to take on the Nazis in her explorer attire from Raiders of the Lost Ark, and comes with a detachable monkey on her shoulder.

Also from Raiders of the Lost Ark is John Rhys-Davies’s Sallah, the intrepid guide that would become one of Indiana Jones’ closest associates throughout the film series.

The one villain included in Hasbro’s latest action figure wave is René Belloq, the French explorer determined to beat Indy to find the Ark of the Covenant. The Raiders of the Lost Ark baddie is in ceremonial dress and comes with a detachable goat-head staff accessory. If you pick up every figure in this set, you’ll collect all of the parts needed to build the Ark of the Covenant.

Each figure in Hasbro’s retro Indiana Jones range will cost £24.99 and will be released later this year. As mentioned, Ford will be back for new sequel Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which flashes forward to the 1960s as he gets to the bottom of another Nazi conspiracy.
