Several new set photos and a video have surfaced online, offering fans another sneak peek at the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit film, Joker. The upcoming movie, titled Joker: Folie à Deux, will see Joaquin Phoenix reprising his Academy Award-winning role as the infamous DC villain.
The latest set photos reveal Phoenix’s character, Arthur Fleck, running through the city, apparently being chased by two versions of himself from his past, one of whom is sporting the iconic red suit from the climax of the first film. It remains to be seen whether these are different characters impersonating Fleck or simply figments of his own imagination.

While not much is known about the plot of Joker: Folie à Deux, it has been confirmed that Zazie Beetz will be returning as Sophie, and the movie will also feature several new cast members, including Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey.
The original Joker film was a massive hit, grossing over $1 billion at the box office worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. It also garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards, including two Oscars and two Golden Globes, both for Best Actor and Best Original Sound.
Fans eagerly await the release of Joker: Folie à Deux, which is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on October 4, 2024.
