Keanu Reeves and Girlfriend Alexandra Grant Share Passionate Kiss on 2023 MOCA Gala Red Carpet
The actor and artist made their public debut as a couple in 2019 years after they published their debut book
Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, put their love on full display during a rare public appearance at the 2023 Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles. The couple, who don’t often make red-carpet appearances, were spotted holding hands and posing for photos together. Their last public appearance was at the 2022 MOCA Gala.
Grant and Reeves showed their affection for each other by sharing a passionate kiss on the red carpet at the MOCA Gala. As cameras snapped away, the couple also shared laughs and smiles. Grant looked stunning in a red halter dress adorned with floral patterns and gold jewelry, while Reeves kept it sharp in a black suit paired with brown loafers. Although they’ve been seen holding hands in public before, their red-carpet kiss was a rare and special moment.
According to US Weekly, the pair first met at a dinner party in 2009 and sparked a professional relationship. Reeves and Grant later collaborated on his first poetry book – “Ode to Happiness” – in April 2011, with Reeves writing the poetry and Grant creating the illustrations.
According to a report by Insider’s Libby Torres, rumors about Grant and Reeves’ romantic involvement had been circulating for years until November 2019, when they finally made a public appearance together at the LACMA Art and Film Gala. In a subsequent interview with Vogue in March 2020, Grant opened up about their relationship and offered more details about their private life.
“I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that’s fascinating,” Grant told the outlet. “But the question I’ve been asking in all of this is: ‘What is the opportunity for good?'”
In March Reeves told People that he enjoyed spending time with his partner and revealed that his last “moment of bliss” involved the two laying together in bed.
“We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together,” he said.
