The wait is over! Netflix has released the official trailer for “Luther: The Fallen Sun”, the highly anticipated sequel movie to BBC’s hit British crime thriller.
The video features Idris Elba’s John Luther as he escapes prison to hunt down the notorious serial killer played by Andy Serkis. The film takes place in London, where Luther is determined to bring an end to the killer’s reign of terror. “Luther: The Fallen Sun” will be available in select theaters on February 24th, followed by its streaming debut on March 10th on Netflix.

The film is directed by Emmy nominee Jamie Payne and written by series creator Neil Cross. The cast includes new actors Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, and Jess Liaudin, as well as the return of Dermot Crowley as Martin Schenk.
