This year will mark ten years since the death of Paul Walker. The Fast & Furious protagonist passed away in a tragic car accident in 2013. Since then, the franchise has continued, constantly making it a point to pay tribute to him every chance they get.
However, another considerable homage will come in Fast X, the tenth installment of the saga, which hits theaters in May. In this new film, which will be the prelude to the end of the main story, Meadow Walker will have a cameo to pay a special tribute to her father.
In 2021, Vin Diesel took Meadow to the altar taking his father’s place, so Meadow’s appearance in the film is very important to the actor. In fact, he spoke about it in an interview with Extra before the trailer was released:
“There is a very wonderful, rich feeling when you can make someone’s wish come true. If you are lucky enough in life to be able to do that, what’s better than that?”

Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty in the movies, also spoke about it, stressing the importance of Fast 7, the last film with Paul in it:

Without kind of like that love from Meadow and Cody and the family, we would be lost a little bit. It’s just saying goodbye to Paul… I think that there was a lot of love and class in that film.
