Netflix announced that the spin-off will arrive on Netflix in Spring 2023. They are currently planning to release it on May 4th, however, it can change.

Who’s Making Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story on Netflix?

Shonda Rhimes will be serving as the main writer on the show. This is the first time Shonda has been directly involved in the writing process as she was an executive producer on the main series. Betsy Beers and Tom Verica will also serve as producers on the new spin-off.
