Report: Actor Jonathan Majors faces more abuse allegations

Jonathan Majors is facing more abuse claims, Variety reported on Wednesday.

Sources told the outlet that multiple alleged abuse victims of Majors came forward in March and are working with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office ahead of the 33-year-old actor’s May 8 court appearance.

When asked to comment about the latest string of claims, Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, told Page Six, “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated.”

The D.A. declined to comment to Variety.

As previously reported, the “Creed III” star was arrested on March 25 in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City on charges of strangulation, assault and harassment.

A then-unnamed 30-year-old woman told police she had been assaulted by Majors and that she “sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition,” per an NYPD spokesperson.

Sources later told The Post that the alleged victim was his girlfriend. The woman, who had minor injuries to her head and neck, told police that she was assaulted. She was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

At the time, Chaudhry insisted that the actor “is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows” and accused the woman was having “an emotional crisis” at the time of the incident.

Variety’s report about more alleged victims comes one day after Majors was dropped by his manager and publicist amid the domestic violence allegations, per Deadline.  Multiple sources told the outlet that Entertainment 360 parted ways with Majors three weeks after his arrest.

The company cut ties with him over issues surrounding his personal behavior, the trade publication reported. In addition to his management team, Majors’ PR firm, The Lede Company, also reportedly initiated a hiatus from the star within the last month.
