Ryan Reynolds Has Begun His Training for Deadpool 3

As MCU fans wait for the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Ryan Reynolds prepares for his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Deadpool 3, the long-awaited sequel to his adventures as the Merc with a Mouth that will also feature the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

After two successful first parts that took superhero cinema to a new level with R-rated movies, now including blockbuster titles like Logan and Joker, Reynolds will take Wade Wilson on an entirely different adventure after Fox’s purchase by Disney, representing one of the biggest challenges by the House of Mouse, targeting a more adult audience and moving away from children’s stories.

Regardless of how this new mix may turn out, there is no doubt that Ryan will put his maximum effort into the film. In fact, he’s already been doing it since he started training to get in shape once again and sport the famous red suit of the anti-hero:

Together with his usual trainer, Don Saladino, the Canadian is more than willing to put his soul and, above all, his body into the film directed by Shawn Levy, with whom he will work again after Free Guy and The Adam Project.

Everything We Know About Deadpool 3

Like any project under the Marvel Studios label, Deadpool 3’s plot details are kept under wraps. In fact, by the nature of the film and the games Reynolds often plays with audiences to promote it, every detail that comes to light, including the trailers, is likely to be misleading.

However, Jackman has been a bit more forgiving to fans, clearing up a few important points. First of all, the movie is going to involve time travel. Second, the reason for this will be that it will not change in any way the plot of Logan, which saw the death of the character. So, surely, Wade is the one who bends the realities or travels through the multiverses meeting Wolverine, who will probably not like his mutant companion.

In addition, the film will be a crucial point in the inclusion of the X-Men in the MCU, which was already teased in Mrs. Marvel with Kamala Khan and in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with Namor. In fact, it would not be strange if some other mutant made its debut at the hands of Wade and Logan. The Fantastic Four members are also rumored to be part of the film, but nothing is certain.
