Spider-Man Noir Live-Action Series Being Developed by Amazon

Amazon is reportedly developing a live-action series titled “Spider-Man Noir,” adding to its list of Spider-Man shows following the announcement of “Silk: Spider Society” last year.

According to Variety, the untitled series will take place in 1930s New York City and feature a new, “older, grizzled superhero” as the main character. This departure from the source material, as the Noir version of Spider-Man usually centers around Peter Parker, has fans buzzing with excitement.

Spider-Man Noir made his first appearance in 2009 as part of Marvel Comics’ Marvel Noir line of stories, which reimagined classic Marvel characters as crime noir characters during the Great Depression. Since then, the character has been featured in various media, including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where he was voiced by Nicholas Cage, the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series, and the 2010 video game Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, where he was voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes.

With a talented team behind the series and a rich history of Noir storytelling, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this new Spider-Man Noir series on Amazon. Stay tuned for updates and further developments.
