In 2002, she won both a Tony Award for producing “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and an Emmy Award for hosting “Beyond Tara: The Extraordinary Life of Hattie McDaniel” in the same year. Goldberg’s impressive career also includes an Oscar for her role in “Ghost” and a Grammy for Best Comedy Album.
Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson followed Goldberg’s lead to become the 17th EGOT winner and the second Black woman to do so.
