Idris Elba has confirmed that he will not be taking on the iconic role of James Bond. Despite speculation about his potential casting as the next 007, Elba has decided to focus on his leading role in the BBC series “Luther.”
He stated, “You know, a lot of people talk about another character that begins with ‘J’ and ends with ‘B’ but I’m not going to be that guy. I’m going to be John Luther.
That’s who I am.” Elba is set to star in the upcoming film “Luther: The Fallen Sun,” which is a continuation of the successful TV series.
